 flaxseed oil

I love flaxseed oil for its nutrition, but not so much its taste. I used to have it in my protein shake, but when I have protein shakes now they're usually as snacks for work and generally spend a fair amount of time in my backpack un-refrigerated (and in a non-opaque container) which isn't really good for the delicate omega-3. I'm not keen on it in breakfast cereal and I sometimes mix it with vinegar for salads but I really prefer a nice olive oil on salads. My partner shots it sometimes, but I'm not fussed on that either. Does anyone have any ideas to use flaxseed oil.

Hey thanks for this useful post, i was not aware about flax seed oil contain this much nutrition's i will try this flaxseed oil...

I am always taking 2 tbsp of flaxseed oil once in a week.flaxseed oil have good nutritional value.It really helps to treat acne problems.

I try to get at least 1 tablespoon of flaxseed and 1 tbsp of coconut/olive per day, but most raw oils are very beneficial. I also try to do 2-4 tablespoons of raw nuts and/or seeds per day. In my opinion, whole foods will always be the ideal, but sometimes its hard getting enough calories in. Most people don't get enough healthy fats/oils in their diet. Anytime you have any kind of inflammation/dryness of anywhere/constipation you want loads of good fats, especially omega-3. I do find it hard though trying to get my patients to do the same.

Look up Udo Erasmus on youtube, he knows more about healthy fats than anyone else. And as a result of his long term research, he does not advocate supplementing with fish oil.
