Recipe for home-made protein bars at Mike Mahler's website:

- 4 scoops of rice protein powder
- 1 tbsp of almond butter
- 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of almond milk (replace with almond or hemp milk for extra protein)

Mix well and divide the resulting mass in small balls (it's easier to shape into bars after that). Lightly grease the baking pan/tray with canola oil and bake the bars for 35-45 min (depending on oven).

This yields about 5 good size protein bars.

Note 1: Store them in the fridge promptly as they may grow mold
Note 2: Adding chopped dates as a sweetener is an option
